Today, the country owns one of the world’s largest solar power plants.
The solar complex, built on an area of more than 3,000 hectares, houses about 3,500 soccer fields. Situated at the entrance to the Sahara Desert, the entire solar plant produces 580 MW of energy, saving the planet from more than 760,000 tons of carbon emissions.
