In November 2017, the production plant installed solar panels with a generating capacity of 1.8 MW, covering an area of 25,000 square meters, to enable the Company to satisfy nearly 15% of its electricity needs  from solar power. Today it is procuring 100% of its electricity from renewable sources.

As part of the long-term Eco Vision 2050 program, Konica Minolta implements the Carbon Minus concept aimed at reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 80% over the Company’s entire production cycle compared to its carbon dioxide emissions in 2005.
