According to the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine, about 1400 Ukrainian households installed home solar power stations in the 1st quarter of 2019, which is 2.5 times more than in the same period of 2018 (543 solar power stations).
In total, as of the 1st of April, about 8850 Ukrainian families use solar panels with a total capacity of 190 MW. At the end of the 3rd quarter of 2015, there were only 130 such families.
The volume of household investments in the 190 MW of solar power stations reached about EUR 180 mln.

The TOP 5 regions of Ukraine, where households installed the biggest number of home solar power stations, are as follows:
– 1072 (25 MW) – Dnipropetrovsk;
– 904 (15 MW) – Kyiv (without the city of Kyiv);
– 808 (21 MW) – Ternopil;
– 580 (13 MW) – Ivano-Frankivsk;
– 562 (15 MW) – Kirovograd.
