According to the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine, last week thousands of Ukrainian families received more than UAH 40 mln of “warm loans” in banks:
– over UAH 23 mln – for insulation of private houses;
– UAH 17 mln – for apartment building co-owner associations;
– over UAH 1 mln – for buying solid fuel boilers.
To recap, you can get a “warm loan” in the following banks: UKRGAZBANK, Oschadbank, PrivatBank and Ukreximbank.
By the way, the first project of lending credence to the Ukrainian households for installation of rooftop solar power stations was launched by UKRGAZBANK, which has funded about 30% of the total country’s renewable energy capacity so far. Yevhen Metsger, Deputy Chairman of the Board of JBS UKRGAZBANK, spoke about this at the CISOLAR 2019 Conference, organized by IB Center Europe.

The bank financed about 200 such projects, as of April 2019.
